Lentil 2.5 mm is a diamond drill bit designed for professional manicure and pedicure procedures. It is used for lifting the cuticle, removing the lifted cuticle, and smoothing the treated area after cuticle work.
The lentil shape provides a comfortable working surface that allows the technician to move smoothly along the cuticle line and lateral nail folds. It is especially useful when a controlled, even contact with the skin is needed for both removal and finishing.
Different grit levels allow the technician to choose the optimal abrasiveness according to the client’s skin type, cuticle density, and the desired result. For longer service life, the bit should be thoroughly cleaned from skin residue after each use, preferably with an ultrasonic cleaner. Proper sterilization procedures should also be followed to prevent damage to the instrument.

Cleaning and Sterilization
After each use, the bit must be properly cleaned, disinfected and sterilized:
1. Clean the bit using an ultrasonic cleaner or a brush.
2. Soak it in a disinfectant solution according to the instructions on the disinfectant packaging.
3. Rinse under running water; distilled water is preferable.
4. Dry on a clean towel.
5. Sterilize using a dry-heat sterilizer, autoclave or glass bead sterilizer, as with any professional manicure instrument.
